Its true that many of the videos we play are of low production quality, as we showcase the talents of many local artists, many of whom are not on labels and have no money. However, in regards to the Flash Dance butt video, I have to say, I have no idea what you are talking about. I never played it. I never saw it. So I apologize for whoever played that. The Women Who Rock show is only on from 8-10 on Monday nights. During this time I play videos from only women artists and women directors. I also interview many guests including female musicians, filmmakers, artists, etc. So, maybe patriarchy is at the core of most of society's woes. I just don't believe this is the case the Austin Music Network. We celebrate the accomplishments of women and give their videos ample airtime. We have mainly women as VJs picking the music. The network does still have many problems, which be attributed to a SERIOUS lack of funds and a city council that hates it. So thanks for tuning in, and I appreciate the feedback.
