does it help with the sickness? my uncle gave up smoking at the beginning of the year and promptly contracted brain cancer. it’d be nice to let him know that a joint or two will help.

Watch out that you don’t emerge with a newfound appreciation of Widespread Panic, or you may be a/f/k for another two weeks in my deprogramming facility.

Thank goodness, I’d been wondering how long it would take for someone to supply an herbal remedy! Glad to hear that all is now right with the world.

my quick time works funny, so your soundtracks are even cooler than they would otherwise be.

My dog leapt up in alarm when I began playing the first one and ran out of the room. She only came back in when I turned the sound down. My dog is obviously not in touch with a higher plane.

Twisty, that made my life. I don’t know how you wake up every morning without saying “My God, why am I so awesome?” Seriously. Having that kind of sense of humor about cancer is a talent.

That picture is cracking me up. That’s the thing about stoned smiles… they’re contagious and everyone starts laughing because they’re stoned, too.
BTW, where did you find that Japanese track? You know it actually, for just a second, calmed me down and, although not as difficult as calming Scooter, it’s still a major accomplishment.
Glad to hear you’re getting some relief.

You know, thanks to drug-induced amnesia, the ebb and flow of the internet, and the steady passage of time, I can’t even remember where I got that poetry chant. I’ve got a whole bunch of’em, though. Let me know if you want more.
The other track, I neglected to mention, is Blackalicious “Your Move,” album “The Craft.”

Oh no! The renegade deadhead keebler elves kidnapped Twisty and are torturing her with reefer madness in their hollow tree!

It’s 6 degrees here, no wind chill until later in the day, though. Glad to hear you are (a) getting some relief, (b) able to eat again, and (b) still your wonderful self. We’re all rooting for you, TF!

I too had been waiting to read something like this. I’m very glad. And the way to tell this bit of news is brilliant –I’m laughing so much, and I haven’t even listened to the files yet.
You’re wonderful, Twisty. Best wishes.

Good for you, Twisty, and good for herb. I love it and I’m not even undergoing chemo. Course it’s great for plain old stomach flu, too. And boredom. And it really enhances tv, movies and music. Yea herb!

Oh god, that music completely makes me feel like I am on drugs. It’s amazing that you can have such capabilities of accuracy when high. How much more can I admire you?

I didn’t have to spike the ginger snaps after all, did I! Excellent news! Herbal Spinster Aunts are the greatest…

I’m curious about whether with the chemo you can ingest instead of smoking. I have serious lung problems and find that cooking with herb is a great compromise. I make an herb butter, spread it on toast, and in an hour or so I’m flying for the rest of the day :)

There is no need to inhale for that primary herbal help. One needs only to take the smoke into one’s mouth.
The mucosa inside one’s mouth are a fine pathway for the heavy-lifting cannabinols that relax muscular tension, lighten mood, relieve pain and generally focus one on the finer appetites of life.
The Canadians have developed a sub-ligual spray for MS sufferers that delivers a basic Cannabis extract -”Sativex”, which is the best yet method of relieving the muscular spasms that MS sufferers are prey to.
The water pipe is also a very civilized method of delivery.
Once gusto has been achieved, then there are indeed as many ways to ingest leaf or resin as there are clever cooks. If you can take fat in significant amounts.
