No Post Today

I have unfortunately come into possession of a wacky new camera lens. It will have to be ripped from my cold, dead hands. Of course there is a slideshow.

    This is a post today.

There is no proof for this statement that can be derived from axioms.

    This sentence is a lie.

Neat! I especially like the dog and the dancing baby. That lens is magic. It somehow links the background to the subjectivity of the subject, if that makes sense. I mean, in the dog photos, it’s like we’re seeing the world from the dog’s point of view. What kind of lens is that?

I *love* Finn Dancing. That’s a “frame it and give it for Christmas” picture.

I love animal crackers! And the dancing kid, too.

    What is this fabulous lens?

Trés cool. Love them all, but especially Finn dancing.

Finn dancing is my favourite too.

Dancing Finn!! What a cute, rockin’ little baby. That is absolutely adorable.

I think I’d better clean my specs.

OK, but. So where did you find “Deranged”?

Finn dancing is good but Bert lurching is the best match of subject and lens IMO.

Is that a LensBaby I see? I have not had such fabulous success with mine, more for lack of effort than anything else. They make a macro one too, it might result in some more truly awesome bug shots. Enjoy it, anyway, they’re great fun.

Lurching Bert and the “Deranged” sign are my favorites.

    wow. just wow is all.

  13. 13 Patti Nov 13th, 2006 at 4:30 pm

That is so cool! But it makes me motion sick to look at them.

I’m awaiting delivery of a Holgaroid from Austria. :)

Finn dancing just made my day. But Bert contemplating is a close second.

    Blame!

Mandos, have you been reading Godel, Escher, Bach?

    Along the same lines:

You have no reason to believe this sentence.

The following sentence is true. The previous sentence is false.

The word “heterological” may or may not be heterological.

“Yields a falsehood when appended to its own quotation” yields a falsehood when appended to its own quotation.

And if this sentence is true, then Santa Claus exists.

(Mandos, if you *have* been reading GEB, good job; if you haven’t, why on earth not? This goes for the rest of you too.)
