I would not vilify an entire region based on a single comic book-like character but I feel fine mocking it. Texas is beautiful even if the trees are low to the ground and hidden in washouts. Most Texans are fine people but they should be more careful about which citizens are allowed out on day passes if they don't want to be mocked. (Dallas the series didn't help your cause any.)
