In some species of fly the male wraps up prey in a little silk package and gives it to the female before mating. It's extremely cool that such complex behaviors can arise from so little brain material. But really, it's not worth getting upset that insects do horrible things to each other. They're just bugs. I've drowned and suffocated and frozen and squashed zillions of bugs during my time in entomology.
