Testing 1 2 3

UPDATE: Crisis resolved. Thanks, and carry on.

UPDATE: I think I found the open tag. Is it fixed?

There is a rumor going around that I broke the blog and everything is suddenly all in italics. I don’t see any untoward italics on my end, in either Firefox or Chrome. So if there is any truth to this rumor, could somebody please elaborate? Or if you’re just tryin’ to gaslight me, ha ha, good one.

Viewing this in IE 8 and it looks just fine. The RSS feed for IE 8 looks fine, too.

  2. Clarissa

I read this in Chrome, and it looks just fine.

  3. nakedthoughts

This post looks fine. but the last few posts are in Italics when viewed on my Mac through Mozilla.

    Walbrook or Boyer?

  5. Manuela

The whole blog looks fine through Mozilla on my PC.

Firefox 1.5 on windows checks out. I post if it’s any different on linux.

Oddly, there are no italics for me when I use Chrome 7, but all of the previous posts (and the sidebar) are in italics when I use Epiphany 2.3.

    “Walbrook or Boyer?”

OK, well, here’s where I beg for help.

There were italics yesterday (using Firefox here). Today there are none. Or, actually, there are only italics in select places. Not entire threads of comments gone all slanty.

I can testify that it was no joke on Safari, and that it is indeed fixed. Thanks, Jill!

The italics were nice. Made Savage Death Island look all fancy n shit.

  14. Blind Horse

Italics on the last post, browsing with Firefox, back to normal now.

I wasn’t joking either. The italics were there, but they have now ebbed away, and all’s well with the world. Yes it was weird, but better that than an all-caps glitch.

Bergman and Walbrook would be my assertion if mixing and matching could occur. Walbrook was the purest of evil, the openest of tags, a multiplicity of exclamation points.

Italics, man. That shit is too dainty for this blog. Can HTML failure be blamed on the Patriarchy, I wonder?
